There is a test for everyone who has ever clinged to "Thus says the Lord"...
After we pray, receive our rhema word, and step out in obedience, things may actually get worse before they get better! We expect a quick response or resolution of our problem, but instead the problem actually becomes magnified!" Have you ever like Moses, & me (lol) been tempted to doubt the word God gave u? Often standing on God's promises involves more than we bargained for.

Friends this is a gospel, many do not preach or even want to hear. Many of us prefer to hear the "name it and claim it" gospel. It is here, now! Grab it, take it, take it, take it!
But the real truth and my experience has been that we must go through the process of the testing of the word for faith to work its true rewards in our hearts. Like Moses, Joseph, Chipo (lol) when it seems like the word of God is being tested, when the winds are contrary, we must cling to the word of the Lord, despite the adverse circumstances we see around us. Ignore the mocking voices or circumstances, whether external or internal trying to contend for the word within your heart. Remember instead the psalm which talks about Joseph: Psalm 105:18-19: "They afflicted his feet with fetters, He himself was laid in thorns; until the time that his word came to pass.
You see my friends, many breakthroughs are not instantaneous and instead they place us in the refiner's fire. This purging process is meant to rid us of self-dependence so that our faith will remain solely in God. It deepens our surrender to God's will, and refines our self-indulgence so that we can walk in holiness. It brings us to the place, where we have to go past natural hope that is dependent on what we see, know or feel to supernatural hope, which we have by grace through faith in Christ Jesus. The same faith that Abraham had the hoping against hope....the standing inspite of all odds!

A woman’s guide to getting it all done – Without losing her sanity

We women are masters at piling too much on our plates – over-committing because we can’t say no – and then feeling guilty because we didn’t get it all done. That’s just plain crazy, and frankly, it’s exhausting just thinking about it. And as women we wear many hats and put our juggling skills to the test. If we’re going to get it all done it’s essential to marry a little good-old-fashioned time management with much needed boundaries. After all TIME has become one of the most precious commodities of our time.

Let’s get real for a moment …

Yes, you’re super-woman, and yes people are counting on you, and yes you’re a master at juggling and getting stuff done. But if you want to actually have a life – and enjoy it – time boundaries MUST be employed. They’re for you (so you don’t dive into the pit of overwhelm and exhaustion) and everyone else (so they know what to expect and what not to expect from you). Some suggestions …

•Establish the “closed-door” boundary – when your door is shut it means “do NOT disturb” under any circumstances unless it’s an emergency. “I can’t find my keys” or “I’m hungry, can I have a soda” are not emergencies. This is for quiet time when you want uninterrupted time to focus.
•Establish the phone, email, cell phone, internet boundary – these are time suckers, and left unchecked, your day will slip away on you. This boundary is really about you and how you manage your time (more about that in a moment). Technology is helpful and can simplify our lives, but it can also be a time-trap. Calls can be returned, social media updated, and emails sent at planned intervals throughout your day.
•So let’s talk about planning …Planning will liberate your time. It will create structure in your day and help you focus on what’s most important and needs your attention. Simply put, you’ll get more done. Some people think structure, systems and planning are confining but that’s just not true. There’s room for flexibility in planning, and you’ll quickly learn what works best for you. Believe me, you will find yourself getting more done in less time and having a lot more time to enjoy other things. The 3-step plan to getting it all done …
•The week at a glance – take 15 minutes on a Sunday for planning. What are your goals for the week? What projects do you have coming up? What absolutely must get done? I like to identify a main theme or project for each day of the week because it helps in chunking down the tasks that need to be done. It also helps to laser-focus blocks of time rather than jumping between right and left brain tasks.
•Block your time - block out periods of time each day to work your to-do list. Have writing to do? Block a period of time to get it done. You’ll be surprised how much you get done when you give yourself a specific period of time to complete a task. And, you’ll soon develop your own rhythm, identifying when you’re most creative and energetic. This method is also a real time-saver for email, social media, and returning phone calls. I block out time for this twice a day – towards the beginning of my day and early afternoon.
•At the end of each day, review and course-correct – did things take longer to complete than you initially thought, are there items on your to-do list that didn’t get done? If so, reschedule important items to the next day, making them a top priority. If you’re on track, review your next day so you’re ready to jump into your day in the morning.A few other tips …
•Practice goal-based planning. If it’s not moving your toward your goal, drop it or delegate it right away!
•Use lists. You can’t focus when your to-do list is in your head. Write it down and prioritize to get things done.

It’s so easy for me to get caught in the rabbit hole with out managing our time effectively!!!

Some days my joy isn’t so very full; though today it is, is yours? Some days because I refuse to remember, I forget all the things that could make my joy full. I forget all about the love that Jesus pours out upon us, forget that He said, “Ye have not chosen me but I have chosen you”. Is there anything worthy of joy than to know that you belong to Jesus Christ, the Son of the living God-that you are His because He chose you to be His to the point of laying down His life in your place? You are His !. Some days I forget that he said, “Lo, I am with you always,” reminding me that I need never be afraid or alone again. I forget that Jesus needs me. He has something important for me to do, something that no other child of His can do in just the same way. Think about it woman, He needs you in a place that no one else can fill. That’s the exciting, thrilling part of being a Christian.

SISTER of mine, if you and I aren’t careful, in our quest to find God we will become so concerned with striving that we will miss the power that comes from a fullness of joy. You see, the joy is ours to be used if we will just become aware of the marvellous blessings of our lives. We take so many things for granted that, unconsciously, we look to see what’s missing and overlook what’s there. Sometimes we want something from God we forget to see what is already there. Christianity without the force of joy can never win others to the kingdom. You and I never effectively win others to the kingdom. You and I have accepted the gift; now let’s find the fullness of joy that generates the power to respond to the gift.

I honestly believe that the secret of finding joy is simply remembering- remembering blessings. Remembering that God made you, and that he then brought you back again because He loves you, will nudge the joy hidden in your heart a little more to the front. Remembering that relying on yourself you can do nothing, but that relying on Him you can do “all things”, will activate the joy a little more. Happy women’s day and love to all. Ev Jay

Look around you woman, and you cannot help but see four very ordinary things in your life. At least they are ordinary in a woman’s world. That’s a calendar, thank God for cell-phones nowadays, definitely a lip-gloss and some flowers.
Of all these the calendar is my favourite and this is why!!!!

The calendar marks each day’s activities, it helps you prioritise, and serves as a counting guide for some important time to come. How else would you be able to know which day you are in, how many days are rapidly disappearing, how much further you need to stretch your grocery money and most importantly prioritise and plan your life?

Oh yes , you have probably just realised that you do have a calendar close at hand , so you look at it and the next time you set your eyes on it I dare you note the days you ‘ve already checked off this week, this month, this year. Look at those days of your life and know that they’ll never be yours again. Let me dare you again and say consider the days of your lifetime that are gone; so many days when you and I were happy in the completeness of God’s love, or so many days when we were miserable without Him; so many days when we pulled others down or lifted them up, the fact remains those day are gone forever.
Do you see what I am trying to say? It is not “time to be fearful, woman but to wake up”- you and, me alike! God has given us today. Make it count and count for something lasting and real!” I employ you search woman, search, and you you’ll eventually come up with this unchanging answer- the only thing in life that is lasting and real is God and His boundless love for YOU. Everything else changes, everything else ends and trust me everything else will leave you alone. So I have discovered and accepted that there is an urgency about finding Him. Time does not wait for us to discover the priceless pearl and life will not stand still until we decide that what we are living for is not worth dying for. I am aware of the chaos and sadness that at times overwhelms our lives, from financial struggles, delay, wayward children and the lot. BUT let me remind you that your life is greater than money, husbands, a picket fence and beautiful kids. You are so much more....Girl, your father is a king and you are a princess, your eternal home is a real castle! Jesus, your family and girlfriends think the world of you. So every time you look at that calendar say within your mind and heart I must be seeking God NOW, LOVING, and PUBLISHING HIS WORD AND LOVE.

Dear woman of distinction. I hope you are well and on top of things, but if things are on top of you, "not to worry" the Lord is your strength he will pull you through.

I just wanted to register my admiration to all women- single, married, divorced, nuns, business women, women in cooperate world and also to the homemakers. I do admire you all especially those who chose to be different by allowing God to influence their way of life.

Women have endurance, patience, resilience, like you can’t imagine it’s all locked in us. As I interact with different women and listen to their stories; stories of joy and sadness, promotions and humiliation, I realize just how we all need one another. If we can allow the cords of God’s love to bind us together, trust me we will go places. But you can’t walk alone, I can’t walk alone, but you also can’t walk with everyone, this is why as the Women of Distinction team we wish to encourage you to be an active member in your interactions with us, we believe that God is putting together a gathering of like women. Women that He will shape through His word and use them in the last days as publishers of his truth.

This is our time we are not next!!!!!
